God led His people into the Promised Land. Through it all He made it clear that He was the One giving the victory. It was by God’s power that the foreign nations were being driven out of the land. God also makes it clear that this was all for His own glory. God’s people were to realize that God was giving them a land in which they could freely worship Him. Yet, He did not want them to miss an important point: the land was not the main prize, God Himself was. This was not primarily about a land they were to cherish, but a God they were to worship in the land. To listen to this sermon, please click on the following link: Joshua.
