Psalm 119 is filled with strong praise to God for giving us the Bible.  In the Bible we are instructed taught about our creator and master.  In Psalm 119:137-144 the psalmist praises God that he is righteous and true and that these truths are revealed to us in the Scriptures that are righteous and true.  In consideration of this we are led to love such a God for who He is and for giving us His good Word.  To listen to this sermon, click the following link: Psalm 119:137-144.

Luke 2 is likely the most familiar of all Christmas stories.  In it we are told of the birth of Jesus and how the angels proclaimed this birth to shepherds.  In this chapter we also get a glimpse of Jesus as a boy at age 12.  From this we see God carrying out his plan of redemption in sending the Son.  To listen to this sermon, click the following link: Luke 2.

The book of Hebrews has much to say about Christ in his office of priest.  This doctrine is more than just helpful information to be tucked away and thought about occasionally.  Jesus in His office as priest is an essential doctrine for sharing the gospel with unbelievers.  It helps get at the issue of what all people need to be saved from.  The next time you ask someone if they are saved, be sure to be ready to tell them what they are saved from.  Then explain the work that Jesus did as priest, to save them from the wrath of God.  Click the following link to listen to this sermon: Christ Our High Priest

In the last chapter of Hebrews we are encouraged to “go to him (Jesus) outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured” (Hebrews 13:13).  This is a call to a way of living the clearly shows our affection for God – demonstrating that it far exceeds any love for this world.  To listen to this sermon, click on the following link: Hebrews 13.
