In Hebrews 12 the Christian life is compared to a race. We persevere in this race by keeping our eyes on Jesus and heading toward the goal of the race: a right standing before the Judge in order that we might inherit a kingdom that cannot be shaken.  You may listen to this sermon from Sunday, May 27 by clicking the following link: Hebrews 12.
Our church has been studying the book of Hebrews together on Sunday mornings. Each week we look at one chapter at a time. On Sunday, May 6 we studied Hebrews 10. Here we were reminded that the every human’s greatest need is reconciliation with God. This truth has implications for our life: it will cause us to worship Jesus who reconciles, it will cause us to look for opportunities to encourage other believers to keep this truth in their minds, and it will revolutionize what we value. You can listen to this sermon by clicking the following link: Hebrews 10.
Dr. Greg Wills addressed the members of the church about their responsibilities to their pastor. This sermon was part of the installation service for Jeff Mayfield as pastor of Christ Covenant Church. The charge to church members was solemn, biblical and God-honoring.
